The guest has already participated in a course and now wishes to extend his course. There are two ways of arriving at the correct price when extending a ticket. The prerequisite is always the ticket ID of the original course ticket. The ID can either be obtained from the guest's ticket or the Participant Search function can be used to search for the ticket in the Journal. Once the correct ticket has been found, it is selected and the ID temporarily stored using Data – Note ID or the keyboard short cut, Ctrl + I.
Extending tickets at a fixed extension price
If a fixed extension price is entered in the Item Directory, the ticket, by which the course is to be extended, is selected by right clicking on it. A drop down menu appears and Extend ticket is selected from that menu. The ticket number (ID) of the ticket already generated for the guest is entered in the window, which opens. The personal details are automatically transferred in the Sales interface and start date of the course is set to the day following the end of the original course. In this process the Extension tick-box is automatically ticked. The price is carried over from the Extension price stored for this item.
