There is the possibility in the Sales Checkout to place the contents of the shopping cart on an offer. Selecting Create offer generates no sale and no Journal entry for the time being, simply an offer without any binding sale. Clicking on Create offer immediately after Sales Checkout opens the Offers window. One or more offers are listed in the upper section of the window, with the customer or receiver (together with the offer number). The individual items or positions in the offer selected above are displayed in the lower section.
Clicking on the offer line or selecting it and Change enters an individual address for the receiver of the offer. In addition, a status (Basic Configuration) and the validity of the offer can be assigned here. Texts, which should appear before or after the offer block, are entered into the Address and Suffix fields. The comment is internal and thus can be viewed only at the WS Skischule.
The offer can be sent as a PDF attachment to an e-mail (Send e-mail ) or printed out (Offer ).
If the customer accepts the offer, offers are called up in the navigation bar under Sales – Offers. By using the blue magnifying glass a quick query as to the customer's name can be made. Detailed search (F6) is used to make a detailed search for receiver, customer, date, etc. The offer required is selected and once more placed in the shopping cart by using the Edit offer icon. This is where Checkout can be used to change the offer to a reservation or a sale. It is of course possible to edit the contents of the shopping cart again or to generate a new offer from them.
Once sold, offers are shown against a green background; offers which are no longer valid, have a light yellow background and open offers have a red background. In the case of a sale the individual positions have the following backgrounds: white for a sale, yellow for a reservation and blue for a purely offer position. Therefore positions with a blue background do not appear in the Journal, whereas reservations and sales do.
